Each programme page shows the per-person investment. Prices range from $225 to $475 per person depending on the programme and stream. Naloxone training pricing is confirmed on request.

Yes. Organisations booking multiple sessions or large cohorts are welcome to contact hello@ateliermhl.ca to discuss pricing. Custom quotes are available for private group bookings.

An Equity Access Rate is available for individuals and organisations meeting the criteria for equity-deserving groups as defined by the Government of Canada. This rate is available for MHFA Essentials and MHFA Certification only and is extended at the discretion of the facilitator. Contact hello@ateliermhl.ca to discuss eligibility before registering.

All public sessions are delivered virtually via Zoom. In-person delivery is available in the Lower Mainland for organisations booking between 15 and 25 participants. Contact hello@ateliermhl.ca to discuss.

A minimum of 8 participants is required for all sessions. This is a requirement set by the Mental Health Commission of Canada and Opening Minds - not an Atelier policy. Sessions that do not reach the minimum by two weeks before the scheduled date will be rescheduled or cancelled. Registered participants will be notified and offered a full transfer to another date.

Virtual sessions accommodate a maximum of 15 participants. In-person sessions accommodate up to 25 participants.

No. All programmes are designed for participants with no previous mental health training. The only requirement is a willingness to engage with the material.

No. The Working Mind employee and manager programmes must be delivered as separate cohorts. This is a requirement of the Mental Health Commission of Canada and Opening Minds. Employees and managers have distinct roles, distinct stressors, and distinct conversations - each deserves its own space. Organisations wishing to train both can book separate sessions. Contact hello@ateliermhl.ca to coordinate scheduling.

Yes. All participants must be present for the duration of their session. The Mental Health Commission of Canada and Opening Minds require that participants spend no more than 30 minutes away from the session in total. Participants who do not meet this requirement will not receive a Certificate of Participation. This applies to all programmes including The Working Mind and MHFA.

Yes. Both days must be attended in full to receive MHFA Certification. Partial attendance is not permitted - this applies to MHFA Certification and all Working Mind programmes.

Yes. MHFA Certification includes an online assessment that must be completed and passed to receive the nationally recognised MHFA Certification credential. The assessment is completed independently after the two-day session. Participants have three attempts to pass. The assessment does not apply to MHFA Essentials.

All participants who meet the attendance requirements receive a Certificate of Participation issued through the Mental Health Commission of Canada. MHFA Certification participants who pass the online assessment receive a nationally recognised MHFA Certification valid for three years.

TWM Legal carries LSO Approved Professionalism accreditation through the Law Society of Ontario and Atelier is a Registered CPD Provider with the Law Society of British Columbia. Lawyers in other provinces and territories operating under self-directed CPD reporting can claim hours directly with their own law society. Contact hello@ateliermhl.ca for further information.

Registration fees are non-refundable. Cancellations received more than 14 days before the session date are eligible for a transfer to a future session or to another participant. Cancellations received within 14 days of the session date are non-transferable.
If you need to cancel due to an emergency please contact hello@ateliermhl.ca as soon as possible. Transfers in exceptional circumstances are considered at Atelier's discretion.
If Atelier cancels a session due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

Participants who do not attend their session and do not provide at least 48 hours notice before the session start time are considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All training is delivered by Token Mahil, founder of Atelier Mental Health Literacy + Facilitation. Token is one of a small number of independent facilitators in Canada certified through the Mental Health Commission of Canada and Opening Minds to deliver both Mental Health First Aid and The Working Mind.

Yes. Atelier is a Registered Supplier with both the Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada, making it eligible for procurement through government purchasing channels.
