Mental Health First Aid Supporting Older Adults

Honoring Dignity, Connection, &
Modern Life Transitions

The experience of aging is shifting rapidly, and the mental health challenges our older generations face require a modern, deeply respectful approach. From navigating complex healthcare landscapes and major life transitions to addressing the profound social isolation that can arise in our modern world, supporting older adults is about preserving dignity and building real connection.

Recognizing that our elders deserve a modern safety net, the Mental Health Commission of Canada is currently revising and updating this curriculum to directly reflect the lived realities, vulnerabilities, and generational barriers facing older adults in Canada today.

Atelier is incredibly excited to bring you this newly updated curriculum as soon as it launches. If you’re passionate about championing the well-being of older adults and want to be notified the moment this course becomes available, connect with us at hello@ateliermhl.ca, and we’ll reach out the moment training dates are on the calendar.
