Mental Health First Aid
Supporting Youth
The world our youth are navigating today looks radically different than it did even a few years ago. From the unique pressures of digital spaces to complex social landscapes, the mental health challenges young people face require a modern, deeply empathetic approach. Recognizing this shift, the Mental Health Commission of Canada is currently updating this curriculum to directly reflect the lived realities, stressors, and vulnerabilities of youth in Canada today.
The adults in a young person's life are often the first to notice something is wrong. This course makes sure they know what to do next.

MHFA Supporting Youth is designed for the adults who are already in those rooms with them.
Built For The Adults
In Their Lives
This program is designed specifically for the adults who champion them - parents, teachers, coaches, and youth advocates - giving you the tools to build real trust, recognize changes in their baseline behavior early, and navigate those crucial, delicate conversations with care.
